Roaches

Size: 15mm (adult)

Colour: dark brown, yellowish

Cockroaches are rarely a problem in the Muskokas. However, there is one native to the area that you may have seen, the Pennsylvania Wood Roach. Not known to be indoors very often these roaches typically can be found outside amongst decaying organic material such leaf or woodpiles and downed trees. Due to the area in which some cottages are located this may be a problem you encounter.
